IMG_556 copyThailand’s northern capital, Chiang Mai is the  most culturally significant and ancient seven hundred year history.Chiang Mai has been voted as one of the top destinations to live in Asia and is a modern and cosmopolitan city, for sure it is a is a popular tourist attractions. This city has a lot in its favour for tourists and travellers alike, there are a plethora of things to do and see in Chiang Mai you will never be bored you can  visite historic temple, admire the old architecture,learn about northern Thai Lanna Culture,play with elephants, climb waterfalls or trekking, enjoy with fabulous food and local food,luxurious Spa Treatment and spent your life in the slow land, there are various ways of getting there by train, bus and plane.I will recommend some place where is  worth checking out.

The frist of all is Wat Phathat Doi Suthep that  has got to be one of the most beautiful of all Thai Buddhist temples also one of the most popular and revered temples which is located on a hill top with an amerzing Chiang Mai view near the top of Doi   Suthep( Mount Suthep). It is a frist place in Chiang Mai where is most of tourists visit for praying and wishing  to have a good trip in chiang mai. The temple is the biggest  and oldest one in Chiang Mai but it still gorgeous with golden pagoda and many golden Budha statues. It has a amazing serene, peaceful and pious feeling to walk around.It is look so beautiful, especially in the early moring and when the sun shines on the golden structure in the evening.if you have not visite Wat Phathat Doi Suthep , you can not say that you have been in chiang mai.

Next place is Doi Inthanon is Thailand national park at 2500 meters above sea level and the highest point in Thailand,This amazing park almost 100kms west of Chiang Mai city (about 1.5 hr drive). It’s one of the best national parks in the north, with a few several large waterfalls along the way that you have  to stop off and see,twin pagoda built for the Thailand King and Queen’s 60th birthday are surrounded by beautiful gardens with lots of different plants. This  place temperature always cold and when you climb higher the air quality improves and the weather is cooler even in summer so you may want to bring a sweater just in case.when you trek up the forest to the highest point you will see many flowers that growth only peak places along the way.and when you get on the top you will seethe views of the countryside below and surrounding landscapes are breathtaking.

Chiang Mai not only best place for relexing but also be a shopper paradise too because there are hundreds scattered throughout the city.Chiang Mai night bazaar is one of the most popular evening tourist attractions located on Chan khlan Road, between Tha Phae and Sridornchai Road is open every night from about 6pm to midnight. the markets are large there are lots of restaurant with  fresh food and local food, bars and many massage areas along the way, clothing, flowers,souvenirs,Good variety of local handicraft, gifts and other random stuff .Certainly you can buy those on the cheap. it is a great place to walk around  enjoy a relaxing night with live band performance, traditional northern Thailand dance , live music and nice atmosphere. people and seller are so friendly. if you came to chiang mai Don’t miss this market.
